A New Hope for Development or the Beginning of Big Change in Assam

One of the most talked-about promises in the manifesto is the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code UCC. In the presence of Nirmala Sitharaman and Himanta Biswa Sarma, it was announced that if the party returns to power, efforts will be made to implement it within three months.

For some, this step represents a move toward equality, ensuring the same set of laws for all citizens. For others, it raises concerns about its impact on cultural traditions and identity.
