The makers of Delhi Crime released the enthralling trailer of its much-anticipated Season 3 at an event held in Mumbai on Tuesday (November 4). The trailer of Season 3 of the Emmy-winning series shows the reappearance of Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, and Rajesh Tailang in their usual roles, while the new entrants in prominent roles include Huma Qureshi and Sayani Gupta.
The ‘Delhi Crime’ Season 3 is set to release on November 13, 2025.
While Shefali Shah portrays the popular character of DIG Vartika Chaturvedi, like in the previous ones, Huma Qureshi is seen as Badi Didi, a mysterious crime boss. Crimes of some serious sort seem to connect Assam to Gujarat in the latest season of Delhi Crime.
Human Trafficking: A web of deceit
The trailer reveals a frightening network of human trafficking, where people are transported like commodities. Their identities are erased, and they are traded under the guise of giving opportunity. They get entangled in a country-wide web of deceit and even become slaves.
But the fearless DIG Vartika Chaturvedi (Shefali Shah) begins connecting the dots between these disappearances and a system fueled by fear, profit, and silence. As her investigation deepens, all roads lead to one name whispered across cities–Badi Didi (Huma Qureshi).

Directed by Tanuj Chopra and produced by Golden Karavan and SK Global Entertainment, the season promises an emotionally enthralling, visually powerful and socially relevant narrative.
Tanuj Chopra said that each season of Delhi Crime has a standalone story that ensures both new viewers and long-time fans will find equal connection and thrill. Huma Qureshi as Badi Didi
During the trailer unveiling event, the actors shared insights into their working experiences and the challenges of portraying emotionally demanding characters.
Huma, who takes on one of the darkest roles of her career, Badi Didi, said, “I say this in the best way possible… this is the worst character I have played,” adding that while the character is vile, she herself is not. “I’m probably one of the best people playing the worst characters,” she spoke with a touch of humour.
Why Season 3 Matters

Season 3 doesn’t just explore crime; it stands as a tribute to law enforcement, families searching for answers, and survivors fighting for dignity.
With its emotional depth, compelling characters, and fearless storytelling, this season looks poised to shake viewers and spark important conversations.
