The wait is finally going to be over for OnePlus fans! The tech giant is preparing to launch its next-generation flagship — the OnePlus 15 — in India very soon. With teasers already live, excitement is building across the spectrum.
New Design and Colour
OnePlus has officially begun teasing the OnePlus 15 through its official India site. The company has revealed the phone’s stunning new Sand Storm colour variant, which has already caught the attention of tech enthusiasts.
The phone will feature a square-shaped camera module at the back, which recalls the memory of the OnePlus 13, and it comes with a premium aerospace-grade nano-ceramic metal frame. The device also has an IP68 rating. It ensures durability against water and dust, which makes it perfect for both everyday use and adventure.
OxygenOS 16
OxygenOS 16 is the latest operating system for OnePlus devices, built on Android 16. This was launched on October 16, 2025. The OnePlus 15 is the first model to receive this update to its operating system.
A Display That Redefines Immersion
The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, co-developed with BOE, takes the OnePlus viewing experience to new heights. It has a 165Hz refresh rate, which has been upgraded from the 120Hz seen in the OnePlus 13.
Big Battery, Faster Charging
Battery life gets a huge upgrade this time. The OnePlus 15 is expected to come with a 7,300mAh “Glacier Battery”, one of the largest ever seen in a flagship phone.
In addition, the OnePlus 15 supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, so that it can be charged from 0% to 100% in minutes.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The internal machine of the OnePlus 15 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which is considered to be the most powerful chipset in the smartphone world right now. Designed for speed, efficiency, and gaming excellence, this processor promises very smooth performance during multitasking, gaming, or streaming in 4K.
OnePlus also comes with a dedicated G2 gaming network chip that could boost connectivity during intense gaming sessions.
Advanced Cooling System for Power Users
OnePlus has introduced its all-new Glacier Cooling System which has a larger vapour chamber and a unique Glacier Supercritical Aerogel layer. This has been introduced to help the device maintain optimum performance while staying cool and make it useful, particularly during gaming sessions or 4K video recording.
Better Camera
The OnePlus 15 is expected to come with a 50MP triple-camera setup. It might come with a wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, as leaks suggest.
Expected Price
The official price of the OnePlus 15 is yet to be announced. But leaks suggest that the OnePlus 15 (16GB + 512GB) could cost around GBP 949 (approximately ₹1.11 lakh) in global markets.
In India, the base model is expected to be priced between ₹70,000 and ₹75,000, making it a strong competitor against Samsung, Apple, and Google’s latest flagships.
