As per recent buzz, Samsung is coming with its all-new Galaxy S26 Ultra. The rumoured flagship device, Galaxy S26 Ultra, seems set to push boundaries in photography, performance, and design, which makes it one of the most anticipated smartphones.
A Flagship Designed to Impress
Samsung is reportedly preparing for its global launch in January 2026, with India expected to receive the Galaxy S26 Ultra around March 2026. Although the dates are not officially confirmed, the tech community is already hyped—and with good reason.
Expected to be priced around ₹1,59,999, this premium flagship may come with roughly a 20% price bump over its predecessor, Galaxy S25 Ultra, which hints at serious upgrades under the hood.
A 200MP Camera System
Good news for Photography lovers as well! The Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a quad-camera setup. It will probably have a powerful 200MP primary sensor. The camera is expected to deliver professional-level results.
The expected rear camera set-up will also include a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 10MP telephoto lens, besides the 200MP main sensor. On the front, it may have a 12MP camera for better selfies and video calls with crisp detail and clarity.

While the Galaxy S26 Ultra may retain the familiar premium feel of the S25 Ultra, subtle refinements are expected. As per rumour, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in the base model, which will make multitasking effortless.
Although no confirmed reports have been received regarding its battery capacity, it might come with a powerful battery as Samsung is always known for strong power optimisation.
Launch Timeline and Variants
Reports suggest that Samsung will launch it at an event in February 25, 2026, possibly due to lineup restructuring. Along with the Ultra model, Samsung will reportedly launch Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus as well.
