The Tier I result was declared on December 18, 2025, and candidates who qualified were allowed to appear in the Tier II examination conducted from January 18 to January 20, 2026. Candidates can complete this process by logging into their accounts on ssc.gov.in. The window to submit preferences is open from March 9 to March 12 until 6 pm.

SSC has clearly stated that if candidates fail to submit their preferences within this deadline, their results will not be processed, and no additional opportunity will be provided later. Therefore, it is extremely important for candidates to complete this step carefully.

Salary Offered Through SSC CGL 2025 Exam

One of the biggest attractions of the SSC CGL Exam is its strong salary structure along with job security and career growth. Selected candidates will receive salaries according to different pay levels.

Pay Level 7 offers approximately ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400
Pay Level 6 offers approximately ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400
Pay Level 5 offers approximately ₹29,200 to ₹92,300
Pay Level 4 offers approximately ₹25,500 to ₹81,100

Along with these salaries, employees also receive government allowances, promotion opportunities and long term job stability.
