The wait is finally over! The Vivo X300 Series, one of the most anticipated smartphone series, has just gone on sale in India. It is quite true that many times, we look for a phone that feels premium not just in features, but in every use. To deliver that exact feeling, Vivo launched its new X300 series, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, recently, but the sale started on December 10. Check the price on Amazon.
At first glance, both these phones stand out from other smartphones due to their camera, design, and robust software support. This time, Vivo has tried to offer not just a new phone, but a whole new experience.
OriginOS’s New Journey: Vivo’s Big and Bold Step

The biggest change with this launch is Vivo’s new OriginOS, which is based on Android 16. Moving beyond FuntouchOS, the company has introduced a completely new, clean, and smooth interface. OriginOS features a new interactive screen called Origin Island, notification stacking capabilities, and card-style animations that make the experience more modern.
Most notably, Vivo has promised five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates for the X300 series, ensuring the phone remains secure and up-to-date for years to come.
Vivo X300 Pro: The Flagship with the Ability to Turn Every Moment into Art
The Vivo X300 Pro is designed for those who want a true flagship phone. It features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display that self-adjusts from 1 to 120Hz and offers an excellent peak brightness of up to 4500 nits.
Dolby Vision support makes for a premium viewing experience. Inside, you get the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, 16GB LPDDRx Ultra RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, making it incredibly fast and powerful.
The camera is its real strength. In collaboration with ZEISS, Vivo has included a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens that offers 3.7x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera also makes it great for selfies and video calling.
Additionally, a separate telephoto extender can be attached, which transforms the 85mm lens into a 200mm lens, great news for those looking to take mobile photography to the next level.
The phone has a large 6510mAh battery and 90W fast charging, along with 40W wireless charging. Its price in India is ₹1,09,999, and it will be available in Dune Gold and Elite Black colours in the 16GB/512GB variant.
As part of the launch offers, Vivo is giving a 10 per cent cashback on SBI, IDFC, and Axis Bank cards. The company is also offering complimentary Vivo TWS 3e earbuds and a Google AI Pro subscription for 18 months.
Vivo X300: A Great Balance of Style, Battery, and Camera

The Vivo X300 is an option for those who want a premium experience but at a slightly more balanced budget. It features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits’ brightness. The battery is 6040mAh, and it supports 90W wired charging along with 40W wireless charging, making it a reliable all-day companion.
In terms of the camera, this phone is not far behind. It comes with a 200MP ZEISS main camera, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto lens. A 50MP front camera also makes it appealing for content creation. Its price starts at ₹75,999, and it will be available in Elite Black, Mist Blue, and Summit Red colours.
The price ₹75,999 is for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant. But the price for the 12GB RAM/512GB variant is ₹81,999, and ₹85,999 for the 16GB RAM/512GB model.
Vivo is selling the telephoto extender kit separately at a price of ₹18,999. But there is a discount of Rs 4000 when it is bundled with Telephoto Extender Kit.
Is the Vivo X300 Series Right for You?
